Project Description:  Medium: Illustrated Storybook + Visual Narrative

 

This book addresses the often-unspoken challenges and emotional dynamics of family-run businesses—from generational conflict and identity struggles to questions of succession and legacy. Through curated storytelling and symbol-rich illustrations, it opens space for reflection, conversation, and resolution within family enterprises.

 

The recurring visual motif of a ship at sea symbolizes the journey of a family business—navigating through calm and storm, uncertainty and trust, tradition and change. Each chapter pairs insights with an artwork that distills

the emotional core of that theme, helping the reader connect both intellectually and visually.

This project was designed to not only inform, but also empathize, offering a gentle and artful mirror

for families in business to see themselves, and sail forward—together.
